FEB Inc. hosted Zcash’s first in Japan meetup at the blockchain community Neutrino on March 26.
Zcash, a decentralized cryptocurrency, known for its privacy technology using zero-knowledge proofs called “zk-snerk”, has been endorsed by the global tech and crypto community as a particularly high-profile blockchain project since it was launched in 2016 and has been implemented in JPMorgan’s Quorum and Ethereum.
At this meetup, CEO Zooko Wilcox took the stage to present and explain more about Zcash. A basic explanation was given for those who were not familiar with the subject. There were quite a few questions from the audience, including some technical questions, which indicates the great interest of Japan tech community to the project.
